What is Teachknology?

Teachknology is a weekly newsletter, written for anyone with an interest in teaching and learning using technology. It could be that you are new to teaching – either working in the formal education sector or that you have an entrepreneurial steak and are designing an online course – or it could be that you are very experienced in teaching but are new to using technology.

This newsletter was set up in 2020 by qualified teaching and learning expert and journalist Amanda Geary Pate PhD to help you explore the multiple relevant issues that we are facing when it comes to designing and delivering teaching and learning experiences remotely or through a blended approach.

What can I expect?

The Teachknology newsletter curates a range of concise information including interesting articles, podcasts and soundbites for our audience of technologists.

Each week we strive to provide you with:

  • Quality, curated, jargon-free information and guidance about all things teaching and learning

  • Current information about events and development that impact your practice

  • Information that serves to level the playing field in education when it comes to helping others reach their goals

  • An inspiring, supportive community of teachknologists.

For anyone wanting to support Amanda with this newsletter, you can subscribe to gain access to informed important issues, as well as providing top tips and information, as well as inspirational interviews.
